Rawas the indian salmon is a very tasteful and succullent fish. Made it in birishta curd and tomato masala flavoured with some saffron and gave the biryani rice some flowery colors to chsnge the usual biryani look. Serve with onions in vinegar chilly, fresh haldi in lime and tomato onion curd raita .

Ingredients for Rawas masala biryani Recipe

  • 2-2.50 piece Fresh Rawas Fish
  • 125 gram Basmati Tukda rice
  • 1/2 Big onions for Birrishta or dehydrated onions to fry
  • 3/4 medium size tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup creamy curds
  • 3/4 tblspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tspn garlic crushed
  • As required few curry leaves
  • pinch gud saffron
  • 3/4-1 tblspn oil to cook
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 tblspn kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tspn turmeric
  • 1/4 tblspn cummin corriander powder
  • 0.13 tspn fennel powder or seeds
  • 1/4 tblspn dessicated coconut
  • pinch red and green food colors
  • 1/4 fresh lime
  • As required Corriander and mint to garnish and for Raita
