Ingredients for Rawa khichadi Recipe

  • 1/2 cup rava
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard
  • sprig Curry patta
  • 1 Pieces Small tomato chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 Pieces onion and ginger chopped (optional)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Directions: Rawa Khichadi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Dry roast rava on a low to medium heat until aromatic. Transfer to a bowl. Cool it.
  • STEP 2.Add ghee to the same pan, mustard and cashews. Fry a bit.
  • STEP 3.Add onions, ginger and curry leaves and sauté for 2 mins. (If using I didn’t)
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes and let it cook till mushy.
  • STEP 5.Add water and let it boil.
  • STEP 6.Now add salt and black pepper as needed
  • STEP 7.Now add roasted roasted rawa to the boiled water and keep stirring it to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 8.Rawa will absorb all the water.
  • STEP 9.Switch off the stove and serve Yummy rawa khichadi.
