  • As required Salt To Taste

  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, red chilies, and tamarind.
  • STEP 2.Saute until the onions turn translucent and the chilies are slightly charred.
  • STEP 3.Allow the mixture to cool, then transfer it to a blender.
  • STEP 4.Add salt and grind to a smooth paste, adding water if needed.
  • STEP 5.Heat a little oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • STEP 6.Pour the tempered oil over the chutney and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Serve the raw onion chutney with dosa, idli, or any other breakfast dishes.
