  • 1/2 Raw Mango, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as per your need A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • as required Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Directions: Raw Mango With Bengal Gram/ambe Dal Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak bengal gram for 2-3 hours.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the soaked bengal gram until soft.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped raw mangoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until mangoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked bengal gram to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
