Ingredients for Rava Payasam Recipe

  • 0.17 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/25 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1/25 cup Raisins
  • 0.08 cup rava
  • 0.17 liter Warm Milk
  • 0.13 cup Sugar
  • 0.17 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Directions: Rava Payasam Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Firstly in a pan add 1 tbsp ghee. Roast ¼ cup each of cashew nuts and raisins.Keep it aside.
  • STEP 2.Now fry in the same pan ½ cup of rava.
  • STEP 3.Pour in ½ litre of milk
  • STEP 4.Add ¾ cup of sugar and stir well on a low flame till the sugar melts down.
  • STEP 5.Add 1 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Then add 4 tbsp condensed milk and ½ litre of warm milk.
  • STEP 7.Bring to boil and turn off the flame.
  • STEP 8.Garnish payasam with roasted cashews and raisins.
