STEP 1.Firstly in a pan add 1 tbsp ghee. Roast ¼ cup each of cashew nuts and raisins.Keep it aside.
STEP 2.Now fry in the same pan ½ cup of rava.
STEP 3.Pour in ½ litre of milk
STEP 4.Add ¾ cup of sugar and stir well on a low flame till the sugar melts down.
STEP 5.Add 1 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
STEP 6.Then add 4 tbsp condensed milk and ½ litre of warm milk.
STEP 7.Bring to boil and turn off the flame.
STEP 8.Garnish payasam with roasted cashews and raisins.
