  • 0.33 cup Idli Batter
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak rajma overnight and pressure cook until soft.
  • STEP 2.Grind the cooked rajma into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 3.Mix the rajma paste with idli batter and let it ferment for a few hours.
  • STEP 4.Grease the idli moulds and pour the batter into them.
  • STEP 5.Steam the idlis for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
  • STEP 6.Remove the idlis from the moulds and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the rajma overnight to ensure they cook properly.
  • You can add some spices like cumin powder or garam masala to enhance the flavor of the idlis.
  • If you don't have idli batter, you can use dosa batter as a substitute.
