Ingredients for rajma chawal Recipe

  • 1/4 nos bowl rajma
  • 1/4 nos Onion
  • 1/4 nos Tomato
  • 3/4 nos clove garlic
  • 3/4 nos green chilli
  • 1/4 nos " ginger
  • 1/4 nos Tblsp tomato puree
  • 1/2 nos glass water
  • As required Spices
  • As required salt to taste
  • 1/4 nos Tblsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 nos tblsp grm masala
  • 1/4 nos Tblsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 nos tblsp fresh coriander
  • As required For tadka
  • 1/4 nos tblsp oil n butter
  • 1/4 nos tblsp mustard cumin carom hing Curry leaves
  • 1/4 nos Dry kashmiri chili
  • As required bay leaf
  • 3/4 nos Cloves and cinnamon
  • As required For Rice
  • 1/4 cup Rice
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 0.13 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 nos Tblsp ghee
  • As required Fresh coriander fr garnish

Directions: Rajma Chawal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a rajma in a bowl,Wash well,sock fr at least 1 hr in hot water and pressure cook with 4 whistles,drain the excess water.
  • STEP 2.Nicely chop onion, tomato, garlic, chilli and ginger.
  • STEP 3.In a pan add oil n ghee,add all tempering ingredients,when start crackle add ginger,garlic chilli,onion n tomato with tomato puree and salt, sauté till oil get separate.. then add boiled Rajma and water..
  • STEP 4.When water start boiling add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and grm masala..
  • STEP 5.After few minutes add fresh coriander and lemon juice.
  • STEP 6.Let it boil fr another 2-3 mnts then off the flame.
  • STEP 7.Rajma is ready..
  • STEP 8.For Rice..
  • STEP 9.Wash n Sock the rice fr 10 mnts.
  • STEP 10.Boil the water in a pen,add salt,then rice,cook untill Rice get Cook,drain the excess water.
  • STEP 11.Rice is ready..
  • STEP 12.Time to plating..
  • STEP 13.Tk a rajma in bowl and sprinkle fresh coriander.
  • STEP 14.Same way,remove the cooked rice in a bowl, sprinkle freshly cut coriander leaves and serve hot.
  • STEP 15.Enjoy Rajma Chawal..👌😋
