Quinoa is high in protein with a delicate texture which has made quinoa a popular substitute for starchier pasta and rice. This recipe is prepared from a lot of veggies, and seasoning ingredients.
STEP 1.In a bowl take some quinoa and wash it with tap water.
STEP 2.Add quinoa to the pan with water and 1 tsp salt.
STEP 3.Mix it well, cover it half with a lid and cook until the water gets absorbed.
STEP 4.Cover the pan fully and let it rest for around 10 minutes.
STEP 5.In a separate pan take some oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, onion, carrot, zucchini, ginger, salt, turmeric and mix them well.
STEP 6.Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes at medium flame.
STEP 7.Add chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala to the pan.
STEP 8.Saute for 2 minutes and add cooked quinoa, lemon juice, and coriander leaves.
STEP 9.Mix well and your fluffy quinoa pulao is ready to be served.
