Nati style biriyani is famous in Karnataka. It is prepared using bullet rice or sonamasura rice. No pudina or curd is used. Coconut is used which gives delicious flavour.
STEP 1.Wash chicken with clear water. Grind all the ingredients expect bay leaves in to a smooth paste.
STEP 2.Heat oil and ghee in cooker add bay leaf and chicken, add salt and cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 3.Add grounded masala paste and cook till raw smell goes.
STEP 4.Add washed rice and water(twice of rice) check taste and cook for 2 whistles.
STEP 5.Serve with raita or serva. Or simply enjoy with lemon and onions.
