Quick burmese soup Recipe

I cannot call it a khauk-swey because it has no noodles in it, nor have i bothered with all the condiments that are added to a khauk-swey soup. Neither have i used roasted gramflour to thicken it. This is simple, light, very filling and tastes delicious.

  • 1 cup Boiled chicken
  • As required Onion: One medium finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger: ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic: garlic paste
  • 1 Garlic: cloves sliced and fried crisp
  • 3 tablespoon coconut milk: heaped coconut milk powder paste
  • 1 teaspoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Spring onions: finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander: finely chopped
  • As required Lime: Juice
  • As required chilli oil
  • As required Prawn sambal
  • 1 Boiled eggs : chopped
  • As required Green chillies in vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon Light Soya sauce
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
