STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add the custard powder, cornflour, milk, and make a runny slurry.

STEP 2.In a large mixing bowl add ½ cup flour, ½ semolina, yeast, baking powder, sugar, and a dash of salt, mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly. Then add 1 ¼ cup of little at a time and make a batter. It should be a runny batter. Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 30mins.

STEP 3.After 30mins the batter will thicken a bit. Give a cook stir before cooking.

STEP 4.Take a pot to add the milk surry and cook it on medium flame. Then add 2tbsp sugar, stir until the sugar melts.

STEP 5.Step once the slurry thickens and gets sticky, take it out in a bowl and keep it aside, let it cool down.

STEP 6.Take another pot and add ½ cup sugar and 1 cup water, stir until the sugar melts and then bring it to a boil. Add the lemon juice and rosewater for the flavor and aroma. Cook it for 10 mins and then turn off the flame and let it cool.

STEP 7.Now in a skillet we will cook the pancakes, take 2tbsp of the batter and place in the non-stick skillet, cook it for a min on medium flame. Cook it only from one side.

STEP 8.Continue the same with the rest of the batter.

STEP 9.Plating take a pancake and add tsp of custard cream, spread it lightly, and then make a corn shape with the pancake pressing the edges and repeat the same. You can also add a little whipped cream for decorating. Garnish it with some crushed pistachios. And it’s ready to serve.
