  • 250 gram Okra, Washed And Dried
  • 1 Medium Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as per your need Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash the okra and pat dry. Trim the ends and cut them into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the okra, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 4.Cover the pan and cook for another 5 minutes until the okra is tender.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to wash the okra thoroughly and pat dry before cutting to avoid sliminess.
  • You can adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
