Pyaz besan ki sabzi is a Rajasthani delicacy made by adding roasted gram flour to cooked Onions and is loaded with spices such as red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.This is a spicy Indian curry is made with two types of onions, gram flour, and spices. This goes well with any type of rice, roti or paratha.

Ingredients for Pyaz Besan Ki Sabzi Recipe

  • 1/4 cup gram flour
  • 2 No.s sliced onions
  • 1 No.s chopped tomato
  • 1 No.s chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander

Directions: Pyaz Besan Ki Sabzi Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Dry roast gram flour for 2 minutes at medium flame.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 take out the roasted flour on a plate.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 in a pan add oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and cook for a few seconds.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add green chillies and onions. Cook for 3 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add spices and stir fry for a minute.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 put tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 now add roasted flour and cook for 2 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 finally add garam masala and chopped coriander to your sabzi.
