Ingredients for Pyaaz Paratha Recipe

  • As required DOUGH
  • 3 cup Wheat flour
  • As required Salt
  • As required Oil  for cooking
  • 1 cup Water
  • As required STUFFING
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Mango powder
  • 1 tablespoon Carrom seeds

Directions: Pyaaz Paratha Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Prepare wheat dough and rest it aside.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing heat some oil in the pan.  add 1 cup chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, turn off the flame and add spices, salt and coriander leaves.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Mix well and stuffing is ready.

step 4

  • STEP 4.1. After dough has rested for 20 minutes, knead the dough sli-ghtly.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Pinch a ball sized dough, roll about 5 to 5.5 inches in diameter.

  • STEP 6.Place 2 tbsp full of prepared onion stuffing in the center.

step 7

  • STEP 7.Take the edge and start pleating bringing to center.

step 8

  • STEP 8.Sprinkle some flour and roll to of a chapati size.

step 9

  • STEP 9.On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook both sides.

step 10

  • STEP 10.Also brush oil / ghee and press slightly.

step 11

  • STEP 11.Finally, serve hot onion paratha recipe with chutney.
