Ingredients for Punjabi mango lassi Recipe

  • 3/4 cups Chilled and roughly chopped mangoes
  • 3/4 cups Fresh curd
  • 1/4 cups gold milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk (Nestle)
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Gulkand
  • 1 tbsp Fresh malai
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped nuts

Directions: Punjabi Mango Lassi Recipe

  • STEP 1.To make mango lassi. Take 2 to 3 medium sized chilled mangoes and peel them.We have used Alphonso mangoes but you can use any other variety. Make sure that the mangoes are completely ripe.
  • STEP 2.Chop the mangoes up roughly. Do not discard the seed.
  • STEP 3.Take a mixer jar and put the mangoes jar into it.
  • STEP 4.Squeeze the seeds over the mixer jar with your hands to extract all the pulp from them. now you can discard the seeds.
  • STEP 5.Now, add the curd into the mixer jar.
  • STEP 6.Add the cold milk. We have added the milk to thin the mango lassi down and obtain the desired consistency.
  • STEP 7.Add the Honey and condensed milk to sweeten the mango lassi. You can also add the Gulkand.
  • STEP 8.Blend all the ingredients in the mixer till they become smooth and develop frothinpour the mango lassi into 2 individual glasses.
  • STEP 9.Garnish them with a few mango cubes. You can also add chopped nuts, malai and gulkand.
  • STEP 10.Serve the mango lassi immediately.
