  • 1/2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Leaves, Chopped
  • 1 Green Chilies, Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Cloves
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped mint leaves, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add the soaked rice, salt, and water. Cook until the rice is done.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve hot with raita or pickle.
