STEP 1.Wash the basmati rice in plain water . Then drain out the excess water . Keep it aside . Then marinate the prawn with salt and turmaric powder . Fry the prawns and keep them aside . Now add chopped onion in the pan . Add chopped garlic . Saute them. Add ginger garlic paste in it. Add salt . Give them a good mix . Then add basmati rice and fried prawn. Add 3 cups hot water . Cover the pan with a lid. Cook in medium flame for 20 minutes. Sprinkle chopped chillis and serve hot .
