  • 1/2 Medium to large brown onions, chopped finely
  • 3/4 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
  • 3/4-1 centimeter Piece ginger, peeled and finely grated
  • 1 Long green chillis, seeded and chopped finely
  • 1/2-3/4 sprig Fresh or dried curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup Tomato puree or pasatta
  • 0.13 cup Water
  • As required Sea salt
  • As required White vinegar, extra to taste
  • As required Steamed basmati rice to serve
