Ingredients for Potato Drumsticks in Mustard sauce Recipe

  • 1.25 inch 5-6 drumsticks cut into 3 inch
  • 1/4 Pieces Medium size tomatoes
  • 3/4 Pieces Medium size potatoes
  • 1/4 Pieces Medium size onion
  • 1/4 tbsp Black mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 3/4 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1/2 Pieces Dried red chilies
  • 1/4 tsp Bengali five spices
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 1/2 g reen chillies
  • 0.06 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.06 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard oil
  • 1/2 g Slitted green chillies
  • to taste Salt

Directions: Potato Drumsticks In Mustard Sauce Recipe

  • STEP 1.Make a paste of mustard seeds, poppy seeds, and green chilies
  • STEP 2.Cut potatoes, tomatoes into wedges and drumsticks into 3 inch pieces
  • STEP 3.Heat up oil in a pan add dried red chilli and five spices and saute for a minute
  • STEP 4.Add in the chopped onion and saute until golden in colour
  • STEP 5.Next add the potatoes and drumstick pieces give a stir
  • STEP 6.Add in salt and turmeric powder mix, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes
  • STEP 7.Now add the tomato pices along with 1/2 cup of warm water,mix well cover and cook for 8-10 minutes
  • STEP 8.Next add the mustard paste give a good mix
  • STEP 9.Add 1/2 cup warm water
  • STEP 10.And black pepper powder give a stir, cover and cook for 5 -7 minutes
  • STEP 11.Finally drizzle mustard oil and 2 green chillies give a mix cover cook for 2 minutes
  • STEP 12.Turn off the heat give 2 minutes standing time before serving
