STEP 2.Take a bowl and add 1 cup rice flour. Add the ¾ cup boiled water gradually and mix well with a spoon. Once the heat becomes manageable mix it with your hands. The consistency of the dough should not be thick. Cover it with a lid. Let it rest for 5 mins.
STEP 3.Take a piece of banana leaf and place a small portion of dough on it. Spread the dough evenly with your fingers in both upward and downward directions. Put some grated coconut on the middle of the dough and then spread it along any one side.
STEP 4.Fold the other side and slightly press it with your hand.
STEP 5.Repeat step 3-4 for the rest of the dough.
STEP 6.Heat a tawa in medium flame. Once it is hot, place the ada. Only 2 adas can be placed at a time.
STEP 7.Do not cover the tawa. Flip it when one side is done(when the leaf detaches from the dough). It will take 10mins for both sides to cook i.e 5mins for each side.
STEP 8.Take it out from Tawa. Poo ada is ready to be served.
