Pomfret is one of the popular sea fish variety through out the world. Many delicious items can be made with pomfret. My this recipe is a bit spicy one in bengali style.
Ingredients for Pomfret bengali style with mustard. Recipe
90 g Pomfrets
1/100 Tsp Nigella Seeds (Kalonji)
0.80 Pieces green chilli
1/10 Tsp teaspoon turmeric powder
To Taste Salt
As Required Mustard oil
1/5 Tbsp Onion paste
1/5 Tsp Yellow mustard
1/5 Tsp Black mustrad
1/5 Tsp Watermelon seeds
Directions: Pomfret Bengali Style With Mustard. Recipe
STEP 1.Clean the fishes and marinate with salt and turmeric powder.
STEP 2.Fry the fish after 10 minutes marination.
STEP 3.Make a paste of green chilli, water melon seeds, yellow and black mustard seed.
STEP 4.Add oil to the pan. Make condiment of Nigella, green chili, onion paste and turmeric powder. Add previously made paste and fry. Pour water
STEP 5.when the gravy comes to boil add fishes.
