Ingredients for Poha Kesari Recipe

  • As required Poha one cup
  • As required Sugar or grated jaggery one cup
  • 0.03 cup Ghee
  • 0.60 cup milk or water
  • 2.50 nos Cashew
  • 1/20 tsp cardamom powder

Directions: Poha Kesari Recipe

  • STEP 1.Navratri Day 2
  • STEP 2.Dry roast or roast with one tsp ghee for three minutes. Wash the poha gently. Boil one : three water or milk. Adding milk gives more taste to the kesari. After it fully boil add the poha. Mix and cover the pan and cook until the poha completely cooked. Then mash the poha. in between add half of the ghee. Now add sugar or grated jaggery and mix. Keep stirring for three to five minutes. Heat the remaining ghee and add the cashews. Roast it into golden colour. Add the roasted cashew and cardamom powder to the kesari and mix well. Now delicious poha kesari ready
