Pizza Rice Recipe

Rice is one of the main food for human being. It consists of protiens, vitamins and minerals. To add Italian twist to rice, I have made 'Pizza rice'. It comprises of rice base to which I have added toppings and vegetables that are used to prepare pizza for dinner. It is my innovative recipe, try it.

Ingredients for Pizza Rice Recipe

  • 0.17 cup Rice
  • 0.08 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup water/as needed
  • As Required FOR PIZZA TOPPING
  • 0.33 Pieces capsicum chopped
  • 0.33 Pieces Tomato chopped
  • 0.08 cup Boiled sweet corn
  • 0.33 cup grated  mozerolla cheese
  • 0.33 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp tomato/pizza souce
  • 0.17 Tsp black pepper powder
  • 0.17 Tsp Oregano
  • To Taste Salt

Directions: Pizza Rice Recipe

  • STEP 1.For Rice - Firstly wash the rice 2-3 times and fill in a round shape pot then add 1/2 cup water and salt after that Place the vessel inside the pressure cooker.
  • STEP 2.Now close the cooker with it’s lid. Put the whistle on it. Now it cook on high flame upto 4 - 5 whistles.
  • STEP 3.Now switch off the flame and allow the pressure to release naturally. Once pressure to release completely and then open the lid. Rice is ready.
  • STEP 4.Now out the pot from cooker and cool it completely.
  • STEP 5.For Topping - In a bowl mix in all the topping ingredients, except cheese.
  • STEP 6.Now saute it on a pan with little oil till the vegetables are cooked then add in the 3 spoon pizza sauce.
  • STEP 7. For Pizza Rice - Now spread 1 spoon butter on a non stick tava and put the rice carefully on the tava just like Pizza bread.
  • STEP 8.Now spread  tomato sauce/ pizza sauce on the rice.
  • STEP 9.Now spread a layer of topping on it.
  • STEP 10.Now spread grated mozerolla cheese on it.
  • STEP 11.Now cover it with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on slow flame.
  • STEP 12.Now turn off the flame. Pizza Rice is ready to eat.
  • STEP 13.Tips: You can use chopped onion also.
