STEP 1.Grind the basmati rice to a coarse powder not very fine but not with large particles either. It should be in consistency of rawa/suji
STEP 2.Boil the whole milk in a thick bottomed vessel on a simmering flame till the milk is half its original quantity.
STEP 3.During the milk boiling process(before it reaches half) add the rice and sugar and keep stirring as to ensure it does not stick to the bottom or get burnt.
STEP 4.Once done, (reached half its original quantity) the milk will become thick almost like a creamy gravy consistency.
STEP 5.Turn off the heat and add cardommom powder, rose syrup and mix well.
STEP 6.Let it cool for sometime. Once it reaches room temperature. Pour in small earthen cups or freeze proof bowls. Garnish with nuts on top and freeze for minimum 3-4 hours or overnight.
