  • 1/2 cup Green Moong Dal
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1.25 En Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 inch Ginger, Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander Leaves, Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak green moong dal for 4-5 hours and then grind it into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and coriander leaves to the batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  • STEP 4.Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Flip the dosa and cook for a minute on the other side.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with coconut chutney or any chutney of your choice.

Cooking Tips

  • Add a pinch of asafoetida (hing) to the batter for enhanced flavor.
  • You can also add a handful of soaked rice while grinding the dal to make the dosa crispier.
