Ingredients for Peri Peri Sweet Potato French Fries Recipe

  • 250 gram sweet potatos
  • As Required Chilled water as per required
  • 3.50 Pieces ice cubes
  • As Required Hot water as per required
  • To Taste salt as per taste
  • As Required Oil for deep frying as per required
  • 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt powder
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dry garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dry ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar powder
  • As Required 🎯 For Garnishing
  • As Required Green Coriander leaves
  • As Required Tometo ketchup
  • As Required Peri Peri Masala

Directions: Peri Peri Sweet Potato French Fries Recipe

  • STEP 1.First of all, wash and peel the sweet potatoes thoroughly with clean water. Put this sweet potato in water so that it does not turn black colour.
  • STEP 2.Now cut this sweet potato into vertical slices. Now wash all these chips in chilled water till the water becomes milky.
  • STEP 3.Now take this milkywater out of the water, add cold water and ice cubes again and keep it soaked in this cold water for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Now heat water in a deep pan, add salt and sweet potato chips and blanch for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Now take the blanched sweet potato chips out of the hot water and let it dry on the cloth. Then cool these chips in deep freezer for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Now heat the oil in a pan. Then for the first time fry all these chilled sweet potato chips in hot oil on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Then rest these half-cooked chips for a while.
  • STEP 7.Now again fry these half fried chips in hot oil on medium flame till crispy golden color.
  • STEP 8.Now we will make peri peri masala. In a bowl add Kashmiri red Chili Powder, black salt Powder, Oregano, Cinnamon Powder, Dry Garlic Powder, Dry Ginger Powder and Sugar Powder and mix well to make Perry Perry Spice.
  • STEP 9.Now add this prepared Peri Peri masala 2 tbsp in sweet potato french fries and mix well. Garnish with green coriander leaves.
  • STEP 10.Now our peri peri sweet potato french fries are ready to serve. Serve these french fries with tomato ketchup and peri peri masala.
