Ingredients for Peri Peri Sauce Recipe

  • 400 gram red bell pepper
  • As required Bird eyes chillies
  • As required Long Red chillies
  • 1 No.s Spanish onion
  • 5 No.s garlic cloves
  • As required Lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smokes paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • As required Salt
  • 2 No.s Bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup Red wine vinegar

Directions: Peri Peri Sauce Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Cut the bell peppers in half and clean it. Chop it roughly. Now chop the red eyes chillies and bird eyes chillies.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Blend all the chillies and one onions in the grinder. Make a smooth paste. Then add 5 cloves of garlic and add paprika, dried oregano, red wine vinegar, ground black pepper, lemon juice and salt to taste. Blend again.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Transfer to a saucepan and heat it. Make a boil. Make sure to stir and after 30 minutes the add extra virgin olive oil and lemon zest.  the sauce is ready.
