  • 0.33 Pieces Capsicum
  • 0.33 Pieces Potatoes
  • 0.33 Pieces Carrot
  • 0.33 g reen Chilli
  • 0.33 As Required Sweet corn
  • As Required Coriander leaves
  • A Few Curry leaves
  • 0.33 A Few Lemon
  • As Required Spices
  • 0.33 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.33 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.67 tsp Peri Peri Masala
  • 0.33 tsp Sugar
  • As Required Salt as taste
  • 33.33 grams Poha/rice flakes
  • 0.33 cup Peanut

Directions: Peri Peri Poha Recipe

  • STEP 1.Rinse 1.5 cups thick poha (flattened rice) in water until they soften. Use a strainer or colander to rinse these light rice flakes.
  • STEP 2.Remember not too rinse them too much or else they will break and become mushy. During rinsing, they will absorb water and soften.
  • STEP 3.The poha flakes ideally should soften but remain in shape and intact. If the they do not become soft, sprinkle some splashes of water on them so that they absorb some extra water.Heat 2 tablespoons oil in the pan. Crackle the mustard seeds first. Use peanut oil or sunflower oil or any neutral flavored oil.then add all veggies.Cover and steam for about 2 minutes on a low heat.then add washed poha,peri peri masala.gently mix. then serve.
