As required Unsalted butter - 1/3 cup
Peanut butter - 1/3 cup
Powfered sugar : 1/3 cup (use 1/2 cup if you like your cookies sweet)
Egg - 1 (can be replaced with 3 tbsp of cream)
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Plain flour - 1 cup
Salt - 1/2tsp

STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 170°C
In a bowl, mix the plain flour and salt and keep aside
Using a hand mixer cream the butter and peanut butter for 2-3 minutes. Add the sugar, egg (or cream)and vanilla essence and beat for 1-2 minutes until well mixed. To this, add the plain flour and mix until well combined.
Take ping pong ball size of the dough and slightly flatten between your palms. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 10 minutes.
