STEP 1.Steam and cook the banana for 10 mins using a steamer.
STEP 2.Peel and let it cool down. Remove the black seed part from the banana.
STEP 3.Keep ¾ banana in a bowl separately.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.Take a jar and add the banana. Grind the banana without adding water.
STEP 2.Take a bowl and add the grated coconut, 2tbsp sugar, and ½ tsp cardamom powder. Mix well. Chop and add ¾ banana. Mix well. Let it rest for 2 hrs.
STEP 3.Knead the grinded banana with your hand. Add 1tbsp sugar and also a pinch of salt. Mix well.
STEP 4.By keeping your hands wet, roll a small portion and spread it on your palm gently. It should be a bit thicker in size.
STEP 5.Take 1 tsp of filling and place it in the middle.Fold it into whatever shape you want.
STEP 6.Repeat step 4-5 for the rest of the dough.
STEP 7.Boil water in a steamer and place the steamer plate. Place foil paper or baking paper on the plate. Place the balls on the plate. Make sure you steam the balls in batches.
STEP 8.Steam and cook the balls for 10 mins.
STEP 9.Turn off the flame and transfer the balls to a serving plate. Pazham Kozhukatta is ready.

STEP 1.Adding banana in the filling is optional.
STEP 2.Sugar quantity can be changed accordingly.
STEP 3.If the water content is more, add some rice flour and mix well.
