Paya is a creamy goat soup that is consumed in winters especially in the northern region as it helps to keep our bodies warm. This dish is prepared from goat trotters along with ginger garlic paste and spices.
STEP 1.Add 1 cup water, mix everything well and pressure cook on high flame for 1 whistle.

STEP 1.After one whistle lower the flame and cook for 15 minutes.

STEP 1.Now open the cooker and cook paya on high flame.

STEP 1.In a pan take some oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, green cardamoms and cloves.

STEP 1.Cook it for 1 minute and then add ginger garlic paste and roast for -2 minutes and add wheat.

STEP 1.Lower the flame and cook well for 2-3 minutes.

STEP 1.Add 500 ml water to the pan and add the prepared paya in the pan.

STEP 1.Mix everything properly and add garam masala powder, ½ cup curd, 3 green chillies and cook on low flame for 15 minutes

STEP 1.Garnish with some coriander leaves and your paya is ready to be served.
