Ingredients for pasta Recipe

  • As required for cooking pasta:
  • 1/2 litre ▢water
  • 1/4 tbsp ▢salt
  • 1/2 cup ▢pasta
  • As required for pasta sauce:
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢olive oil
  • 1/4 tbsp ▢butter
  • 1/2 nos ▢ clove garlic
  • As required finely chopped
  • 1/4 nos ▢ chilli
  • As required slit
  • 1/4 inch ▢ginger
  • As required Chopped
  • As required ▢½ onion
  • As required finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ▢Chilli powder
  • As required ▢½ tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 cup ▢tomato puree
  • As required ▢½ tsp coriander powder
  • As required ▢½ tsp cumin powder
  • As required ▢½ tsp garam masala
  • As required ▢½ tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢sweet corn
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢carrot
  • As required Chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢capsicum
  • As required Chopped
  • As required ▢½ cup pasta boiled water
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ▢mixed herbs
  • 1/4 tsp ▢chilli flakes
  • As required ▢½ cup cheese
  • As required Grated
  • 1/2 tbsp ▢coriander
  • As required finely chopped

Directions: Pasta Recipe

  • STEP 1.firstly, in a large vessel take 2 litre water and 1 tbsp salt.
  • STEP 2.get the water to a rolling boil. once the water comes to a boil, add 2 cup pasta.
  • STEP 3.boil for 7 minutes or until the pasta is al dente. make sure to check the cooking time on package instructions.
  • STEP 4.drain off the pasta and rinse with cold water to stop from cooking further. keep aside.
  • STEP 5.to prepare pasta sauce, in a large wok heat 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
  • STEP 6.add 2 clove garlic, 1 chilli and 1 inch ginger. saute slightly.
  • STEP 7.also, saute ½ onion until the onions shrink slightly.
  • STEP 8.keeping the flame on low, add 1 tsp chilli powder and ½ tsp turmeric.
  • STEP 9.saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • STEP 10.further, add 2 cup tomato puree and cook well.
  • STEP 11.cook until the mixture thickens and oil separates.
  • STEP 12.also add ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp salt.
  • STEP 13.saute on low flame until the spices turn aromatic.
  • STEP 14.add 2 tbsp sweet corn, 2 tbsp carrot and 2 tbsp capsicum. cook for a minute.
  • STEP 15.now add ½ cup pasta boiled water, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp mixed herbs and 1 tsp chilli flakes.
  • STEP 16.cook until the spices are well combined.
  • STEP 17.further, add ½ cup cheese and mix well. cheesy pasta sauce is ready.
  • STEP 18.now add boiled pasta and mix well making sure the pasta sauce is well combined with pasta.
  • STEP 19.finally, enjoy desi masala pasta topped with cheese and coriander.
