STEP 1.heat 6 tsp coconut oil in a deep fry pan. Fry the sliced pappad.

STEP 1.set another pan on the stove. Turn on the flame and transfer the leftover oil to this pan for further cooking.

STEP 1.crush the shallots in a grinder and transfer them to the pan.

STEP 1.add 1 sprig of curry leaves and saute till the shallots start turning pale brown.
step 5
STEP 1.add a very slight pinch of salt and 2 tsp of chili powder. Continue to saute till the raw smell of chilly is lost.
step 6
STEP 1.turn off the flame and add in the fried pappads into the pan.
step 7
STEP 1.stir and coat the gravy over the pappad. Garnish with a few curry leaves.
