  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Water

Directions: Papad Ki Sabji Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Roast the papads on a tawa or in the microwave until crispy.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • STEP 5.Add water and let the gravy simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Break the roasted papads into small pieces and add them to the gravy. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • Roast the papads until they are crispy, as they will soften slightly when added to the gravy.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less chili powder.
  • You can also add vegetables like capsicum or peas to the gravy for added flavor and nutrition.
