Paneer/indian cottage cheese is one of my favourites and so i try to make incorporate it in my meals in different ways. Adding paneer to any dish takes it to a new level. So today am sharing with you an extremely simple and equally tasty paneer pulav recipe. Hope you all enjoy it.

Ingredients for Paneer pulav Recipe

  • 0.40 cup basmati rice washed and soaked in lukewarm water for 30 mins
  • 0.40 cup Water
  • 25 gram fresh paneer diced in small pieces
  • 0.40 tablespoon butter and a tbsp oil
  • 1/5 medium sized onion finely sliced
  • teaspoon A ginger garlic paste
  • 1/5 pinch each of garam masala, coriander powder and black pepper powder
  • 1/5 Cardamom
  • 1/5 piece small cinnamon
  • 1/5 petal of star anise
  • As required Juice of half lemon
  • As required Few nuts and raisins fried in clarified butter
  • As required salt according
  • As required Few finely chopped coriander and mint leaves
