Ingredients for Paneer Pulao Recipe

  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 Black cardamom seeds removed and husks discarded
  • 1-1.50 Green cardamom kept whole or seeds removed
  • 1-1.50 Cloves
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Single strand of mace
  • piece A small piece of stone flower
  • 3/4 cup Basmati rice or pulao rice
  • 125-150 gram Paneer
  • 1/2 Medium to large onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.17 cup Peas optional
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee or oil for the pulao
  • 1-1.50 teaspoon Ghee or oil for pan frying the paneer
  • 1.50-1.63 cup Water
  • 1/4 inch Ginger + 2 to 3 garlic cloves + 1 green chilli crushed in a mortar pestle to a paste
  • 1/2 Tej patta
  • 1/2-0.63 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 3/4-1 tablespoon Chopped mint leaves
