  • STEP 2.Prepare the batter by mixing besan (gram flour), rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and water in a bowl.
  • STEP 3.Dip each paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is well coated.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure the paneer cubes are not too thick, as they may not cook evenly.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For an extra crunch, you can add a tablespoon of cornflour to the batter.
  • To make the paneer poppers healthier, you can also bake them in the oven instead of deep-frying.

Storage and Serving

  • Paneer poppers are best served hot and fresh.
  • If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, place the poppers in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
  • Serve them as a snack or appetizer at parties, gatherings, or as a tea-time treat.
