Directions: Paneer Lollipops Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together paneer cubes, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a separate bowl, prepare the batter by mixing together all-purpose flour, cornflour, salt, red chili powder, and water. The batter should be thick and smooth.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai. Dip each marinated paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is well coated. Gently drop it into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 4.Remove the paneer lollipops from the oil and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel. Serve hot with a dip or chutney of your choice.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure the paneer cubes are well coated with the marinade for maximum flavor.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference.
  • To make the lollipops more appealing, you can insert a small wooden skewer or toothpick into each paneer cube before frying.
  • For a healthier version, you can also bake the paneer lollipops in the oven instead of deep-frying them.

Storage and Serving

  • Paneer lollipops are best served hot and crispy.
  • If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, place the lollipops in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for a few minutes until heated through.
  • Serve the paneer lollipops as an appetizer or snack with a side of mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
