Paneer chilli stuffed idli cupcakes Recipe

This is my innovation where i have stuffed idlis with home made paneer chilli filling and shaped as cupcakes with a frosting of tomato coconut chutney. I served chutney in a coconut shell. Kids would definitely finish the breakfast if you present the idlis like this.

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 dry coconut, roughly chopped
  • As required Salt
  • As required coconut chutney for serving
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 dry coconut, roughly chopped
  • As required coconut water taken from broken coconut
  • 1/2 tablespoon chana daal
  • As required Salt
  • As required To temper chutney
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon udad daal
  • pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 kashmiri mirch
  • As required few curry leaves
  • As required paneer Stuffing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 cup capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup homemade paneer, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
