Ingredients for Paneer Bhurji Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Crumbled homemade paneer
  • 1/2 Pieces Onion chopped
  • 1/2 Pieces Tomato chopped or pureed
  • 1/4 cup Peas
  • 1/4 Inch ginger grated
  • 1 Pieces 2-3 pods g
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Whole cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 g green chili
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves

Directions: Paneer Bhurji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and keep peas ready.
  • STEP 2.Crumble the paneer with hands and keep aside
  • STEP 3.Take ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds
  • STEP 4.When they splutter add chopped onion, Ginger and garlic
  • STEP 5.When they turn soft and pink add dry Masalas and stir well.
  • STEP 6.When the Masala gets aromatic add tomato and green chili. I add green chili to the grinder along with tomato and purée them together.
  • STEP 7.Mix the purée and let it cook
  • STEP 8.Then add peas and cook them till the raw flavor is gone
  • STEP 9.Now add crumbled paneer and mix everything well
  • STEP 10.Cover and let it cook for 5 min more so that all the flavors blend together nicely.
  • STEP 11.Add chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti, paranthe or purée.
