A very easy,healthy,quick dish prepared from seasoning tilapia fillets and then frying it. This Pan Seared Tilapia is a super easy 25-minute dinner that is perfect for busy moms like me. The fish is lightly crusty on the inside and flaky on the inside. Serve this with my Mango Avocado Salsa and you will be in heaven!

Ingredients for Pan Seared Tilapia Recipe

  • 1 pound tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Directions: Pan Seared Tilapia Recipe

  • STEP 1.Clean and dry tilapia fillets

  • STEP 2.Then sprinkle half tsp salt over both the sides.

  • STEP 3.Season with 1 tsp of ground black pepper

step 4

  • STEP 4.Take a tsp of garlic powder and rub it on both the sides of the fillets

step 5

  • STEP 5.Sprinkle half tsp of paprika on both the sides

step 6

  • STEP 6.Also sprinkle some dried basil leaves on each side of the fillets.

step 7

  • STEP 7.Apply 1 tbsp olive oil on both the sides and rub it well.

step 8

  • STEP 8.1. Heat an iron skillet and put the fillets on it.

step 9

  • STEP 9.2 .cook it at medium flame from each side until cooked.

step 10

  • STEP 10.3. Garnished with some crushed parsley along with lime wedges
