  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomato, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and chop the spinach leaves. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • STEP 2.Once the cumin seeds splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add the chopped spinach leaves and cook until they wilt down.
  • STEP 6.Add cooked rice and mix gently until well combined. Season with salt.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with yogurt or raita.
