Palak chana dal is a popular healthy recipe made with spinach leaves and Bengal gram. Both r rich in iron and protein. Here I made it with a twist. Spinach dumplings in chana dal. It is very easy to make and yummy to taste.
Ingredients for PALAK PANEER DUMPLINGS IN CHANA DAL Recipe
As Required Bengal gram two
As Required Spinach leaves
As Required Cottage cheese half cup grated
As Required Two finally chopped onion
As Required Garlic cloves
As Required inger one inch piece
As Required Two tomatoes puree
As Required Cumin seeds one tea spoon
to taste salt according
As Required Red chilly powder one tea spoon
As Required Turmeric powder half
As Required Corriander powder one tea spoon
As Required aram masala powder one tea spoon
as required Oil as required for tadka and shellow frying
As Required Finally chopped green chilly two

STEP 1.Wash and soak chana dal for two hours.
STEP 2.Heat oil in cooker.
STEP 3.Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
STEP 4.Add onions in it and saute them till they become transparent.
STEP 5.Add ginger garlic paste and soute for a while.
STEP 6.Add tomatoes puree in it and saute them till oil separates.
STEP 7.Add salt and dry spices in it. Mix properly.
STEP 8.Add three cup water and close the lid.
STEP 9.Cook it for four whistles. Switch off the flame and let the pressure released.
STEP 10.Take grated cheese.
STEP 11.Add salt and pepper, finally chopped onion and green chilli in it. Mix properly.
STEP 12.Wash spinach leaves and place cheese stuffing on it.
STEP 13.Fold it carefully and seal it with toothpick.
STEP 14.Boil water in a pan.
STEP 15.Place these spinach rolls on a strainer and put it on pan.
STEP 16.Steam it for two minutes.
STEP 17.Now heat two table spoon oil in a pan.
STEP 18.Shellow fry these dumplings in it till the become crispy.
STEP 19.Put chana dal in a serving bowl.
STEP 20.Place these spinach dumplings in it.
STEP 21.Serve hot with naan or chapati or rice.
