Ingredients for Palak Chicken Recipe

  • 125 grams Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 4 Pieces Garlic
  • 1/2 Inch 1” Ginger
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Pieces Green chilli
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1/2 Pieces Cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Pieces Big onion
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 0.38 cup water
  • 1 Pieces Cardamom
  • 1.50 Pieces Cloves
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1.50 tbsp Oil
  • 1.50 tbsp Fresh cream / malai
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar

Directions: Palak Chicken Recipe

  • STEP 1.Blanch spinach leaves .
  • STEP 2.make a paste of blanched spinach + mint + ginger + green chilli. Make paste of onion also.
  • STEP 3.marinade chicken with the green paste along with curd + 1 tsp salt . Marinade for 1 hour.
  • STEP 4.in moderately heated pan add oil, add cumin seeds + bay leaf + cinnamon + cardamom + cloves and allow to crackle. Then onion and sauté till pinkish.
  • STEP 5.then add garlic and saute for few seconds, then add the marinated chicken and cook under medium flame , chicken releases water, cook till water evaporates to some extent.
  • STEP 6.add all spices and fry till spices leaves oil , then add water + salt + sugar and cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • STEP 7.lastly add malai + garam masala and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 8.dish is ready.
  • STEP 9.serve with paratha/ naan / steamed rice
