  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tomato, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  • STEP 6.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 7.Add the chopped spinach leaves and cook until they wilt.
  • STEP 8.Season with salt and cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 9.Serve hot with roti or rice.
