Ingredients for Padmo Luchir Payes Recipe

  • 25 g Khoa
  • 3.75 Pieces Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 Tsp Pistachio
  • 125 g Milk
  • 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Clarified Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 Tbsp crushed cardamom

Directions: Padmo Luchir Payes Recipe

  • STEP 1.At first make a soft dough with flour and clarified butter and water. Keep the dough in rest for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Then take the milk in a pot and boil it in low flame for atleast 15 minutes. Then add sugar into it and stir till sugar melts. Then add crushed cardamom and again boil in low flame to make the milk little bit thicker.
  • STEP 3.Now in a separate pan add 1tsp clarified butter and heat the pan in low flame. Then add cashew and pistachio onto it and fry for few seconds. Then add khoa ane stir and make a soft filling.
  • STEP 4.Now after khoa filling is cool down take a small portion of dough and made small size puris with the help of roller& pin.
  • STEP 5.Now take 1tbsp of filling into a puri and cover the puri with another puri and lock the outer portion of puris with the help of hand and try to give a shape of padmo or lotus. Now make all the puris in that particular shape.
  • STEP 6.Now heat the pan of payes or milk add padmo luchi one by one and cover the lid and turn off the flame.
  • STEP 7.Wait to soak payes into luchi . Then refrigerate and serve cool cool padmo Luchir Payes.
