Ingredients for Paddu Recipe

  • 3 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Chana dal
  • 1 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • As required Oil for cooking
  • 1 cup Water

Directions: Paddu Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Take 3 cups of measuring rice and a cup of urad dal and a spoon of fenugreek seeds. Soak in water. Leave for 3 hours.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Grind and prepare a batter.

step 3

  • STEP 3.1. Take a pan and heat some oil and add coriander, green chillies, onions, turmeric powder, cumin and sesame seeds.

step 4

  • STEP 4.2. Saute all the ingredients till they change colour. Then add turmeric powder and cook. Turn the heat on and let it cool.

step 5

  • STEP 5.3. Mix the batter with the ingredients and make paddu

step 6

  • STEP 6.S using a shaper. Make sure to grease it. And pour the batter on it. And cook on low flame for 3 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.4. Make sure you cook on both sides.
