Ingredients for Pad Thai Prawns Recipe

  • 80 gram Dried medium rice noodles
  • 100 gram Peeled raw prawns
  • 2 No.s Egs
  • 50 gram Bean Sprouts
  • 1 No.s Small Red Onion
  • 2 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 No.s Chilli
  • 2 tablespoon Pickled turnips
  • 20 gram Garlic chives
  • 30 gram Roasted peanuts
  • 20 gram Coriander
  • 60 gram Brown sugar
  • 1/2 No.s Lime
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind paste
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Paste
  • 1.50 tablespoon Water mixture

Directions: Pad Thai Prawns Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok, add 2 cloves finely chopped garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 add 60 gm palm sugar, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, 2 tbsp tamarind paste and stir until sugar has dissolved. Then remove the wok from the heat and keep aside

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 in a clean wok heat 1 tbsp oil on high heat, add 100 gm peeled prawns and stir fry for 2 minutes. Then push to one side of the wok.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add 2 whisked eggs to the wok and leave to set for 10 seconds and then stir till scrambled.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add 1 finely chopped chili, 1 small finely chopped red onion, juice of ½ a lime and stir together.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 then add 80 gm soaked and drained rice noodles, 50 gm bean sprouts, 2 tbsp finely chopped pickled turnips and stir fry for 2 minutes until the noodles heat through.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 add the prepared sauce mixture and stir fry till absorbed.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 add 20 gm garlic chives cut into 1 inch lengths and stir fry for a few seconds.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 transfer to a dish, add 30 gm lightly crushed roasted peanuts, 20 gm coriander cut into 1 inch lengths and serve.
