STEP 1.Mix 2 cups of roasted rice four, ¾ cups of grated coconut and pinch of salt in a bowl.
STEP 2.Pour into the mix hot water little by little to form dough.
STEP 3.Keep aside the dough for half an hour covered with lead
STEP 4.Unlid the cap and knead the dough well.
STEP 5.Spread an oil paper on the surface of the chapathi maker. Grease the oil paper with a spoon of ghee.
STEP 6.Divide the entire dough into separate medium sized balls,
STEP 7.Place each ball of dough on the chapathi maker and press it down to get orotti
STEP 8.Preheat a griddle on the stove at high flame. Once the griddle is hot, turn down the flame to medium heat and cook the orottis tossing the sides.
STEP 9.When the orottis turn a pale golden shade, you can transfer it to a serving dish.
