Ingredients for Okro Soup With Spinach Recipe

  • 1.50 pound Okra
  • 1 Nos red bell pepper
  • As required Smoked turkey wings
  • 1 Nos small onion
  • 1 Nos habanero pepper
  • 3 tablespoon Crayfish
  • 1/2 pound Spinach
  • 1 pound Shrimps
  • 1 Nos dry fish
  • 4 tablespoon locust bean
  • 1/2 0.75 palm oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning powder
  • 4-5 cup Water

Directions: Okro Soup With Spinach Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Mince the onion and cut okra in pieces.

  • STEP 1.In a pot add smoked turkey, minced onions, 2 seasoning cubes, salt as per taste and add about 5 cups of water,cover and cook it for about 30 minutes.

  • STEP 1.Now blend the okra coarsely and keep it aside. Add blend pepper paste into the pot followed by locust beans,ground crayfish and stir it.

  • STEP 1.Now add the dried fish and cook for a while. Now add the palm oil, shrimps,blend okra and cook it for 7-8 minutes with the lid on,stirring it occasionally.

  • STEP 1.8. Lastly,add spinach leaves and cook it for a min or two and then turn off the flame.
